Sewage damage to Kitchen wood flooring

This customer had a sewer line backup into their Kitchen and soak their hardwood flooring over a holiday weekend.  They were very concerned about their safety and asked our expert crews if they could ever walk in their Kitchen without wearing shoes again.  The SERVPRO team carefully inspected the entire area to make sure they had the entire problem surrounded.  Next they professionally removed all the affected materials and made sure there was no cross contamination as they removed it from the house.  Finally, they wiped, sanded and applied disinfectant to all structural materials so the contamination was no longer a threat.  After our experienced crew brought in an industrial hygienist to perform surface testing, the crew was able to responsibly declare the area was safe to rebuild and occupy.  The customer was extremely impressed and stated, "I don't know how I could ever live in this house again, if it wasn't for your awesome crew!"
