Fire Cleanup in Retail Store

An electrical fire caused significant amounts of thick black soot throughout this retail store.  The due the heat of the soot, it penetrated every room and crevice of the structure.  The business was instantly shut down until a complete soot cleanup was performed.  Our crew arrived in less than an hour and immediately performed an inspection to survey the extent of the damage.  After walking the job site with the business owner, a job plan was created based upon the owner's priorities.  The crew started cleaning immediately and installed several air scrubbers with specialty charcoal filters. These specialty filters are designed to capture airborne particles so the structure does not become recontaminated overnight when the air settles.  As you can see, there were large amounts of soot to contend with and the trained professionals at SERVPRO were the best choice.
